Rapunzel "Tangled" Cake

I made this "Tangled"cake for a little girl who was turning 3. I used a plastic tower I had left over from a castle cake I had made. I built the little room on top of the tower and the base of the tower out of Rice Crispy Treats. I covered the rest of the tower in fondant.

This was a fun cake to try to figure out how to make. I had to send it with the customer in 3 pieces, to be assembled at the party. I hope they got it together OK!

I LOVE this cake. I'm making a Rapunzel cake this weekend, and I think I'll use this idea. It's adorable. Do you have any tips you could pass on to me to make the process go a little smoother? Thanks so much!
