Cowgirl Cake

I made this cake for one of my preschoolers that were celebrating their birthday this weekend. She was having a cowgirl party with pony rides for the kids. This is a chocolate cake with a Rice Krispy Treat under the hat.

1st Birthday Monkey Cake

I made this monkey cake for a client who requested banana cake. I had never tried that flavor and was worried it would be too soft to shape into the #1. It turned out fine and was delicious. My family has enjoyed the parts that were cut out. This cake turned out to be huge and heavy!

Hello Kitty Cake

My client sent me a picture of the Hello Kitty paper goods they were using for their daughters 3rd birthday. I did my best to match it on this yellow pound cake filled with fresh cut strawberries. I rarely make pound cakes - it turned out great.

Vegas Wedding Cake

My client ordered a cake for her sister's wedding. They wanted the cake to reflect their history. The couple met working in the film industry, moved to Georgia, then South Dakota. The couple drove here with their son for the wedding at Red Rock. They were wearing traditional Native American outfits to their wedding. I tried to represent all that on this white cake that was filling with fresh cut strawberries.

Sleeping Beauty Barbie Cake

I made this strawberry cake for a client, along with 36 mini-cupcakes. She wanted the dress to match a dress her daughter would be wearing at the party. I had to make a small cake to go under the dress because the Barbie's legs were too long.
