I made this monkey cake for a client who requested banana cake. I had never tried that flavor and was worried it would be too soft to shape into the #1. It turned out fine and was delicious. My family has enjoyed the parts that were cut out. This cake turned out to be huge and heavy!

I love it! As I think we are going with a monkey/bananas theme for my son's 2nd.
